John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Many people suffer because they do not feel love and sometimes this lack of love sends them into poor decisions using sex, alcohol, and in other things of the world to find peace or satisfaction. Unfortunately, many times this quest for peace despite their efforts results in an emptiness which creates loneliness, depression and sometimes even suicide.
The Bible mentions in the book of John, Chapter 3 and verse 16: for God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but that he may have eternal life. You have someone who loves you and knows you. He knows your sadness, your fear, your anxiety, your discouragement, your struggle, and your faults. Despite all this, He loves you. His great love for you motivated Him to send you His only son so that you may have eternal life. This life can give you peace and joy. Through His son Jesus Christ, we are blessed with all sorts of spiritual blessings in Christ. Ephesians 1:3 says, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.”
Do you feel lonely? You have a choice to make; believe in Jesus Christ. Put your trust in him, in serving him with all your heart by the application of his words. The peace of God that surpasses all intelligence will keep your hearts and your thoughts on Jesus Christ.
God loves you. May he give you, according to the rich of his glory, to be powerfully fortified through his spirit in your inner being, so that Christ lives in your hearts through faith; so that you, being rooted and grounded in love, you can understand with all Saints what the width, length, depth and height is, and know the love of Christ, which surpasses all knowledge, so that you may be filled up with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:16, 19.
Amen.
